Firefighters from Iselin District 9 were dispatched to a car fire on Route 1 and upon arrival found the vehicle engulfed in flames. Thankfully no one was hurt and NJ DOT was requested by Incident Command to ensure the roadway was safe after exposure to the intense heat.
