Captain Brian Bennett is the 2017 recipient of the Chief Thomas "TK" Kolarick Instructor of the Year Award. The award is named in memory of Chief Thomas Kolarick of the Keasbey Fire Department who died in the line of duty on November 11, 2015. Chief Kolarick was a volunteer with the fire department for 41 years, and was passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with his fellow firefighters. The award is presented annually and is sponsored by the Kolarick Family and the Woodbridge Township Fire Officers Association.
